I've had a long day, got home late with my 3 children (one being a very tired and grumpy 4 year old) and really, really didn't want to Cook. However, I knew I'd be home late today and instead of deciding i'd just have a takeaway, I grabbed a low calorie ready meal and microwave vegetables. I know a lot of people will say this is lazy, or full of preservatives and junk, but this time a couple of months ago I'd have ordered takeaway and not given it a second thought. Instead, my evening meal came in at 419 calories. As silly as it sounds, I'm proud of myself!

    i always keep a microwave/ready-made meal around just in case i’m tired or too busy to cook a full meal. Are they as good for you as freshly prepared food? no. But there are some healthier options! This looks great

    It’s SO not silly. It’s prioritising your goal and planning ahead to honor your commitment to yourself. It’s a big deal, especially with three little ones to care for. Good for you 🙂💪
