I have no idea what she does but this is the pan every single time she makes scrambled eggs. Help!

This isn’t stupid food, but probably fits in *mildly infuriating*

Has she heard of oiling the pan?
unoiamaQT
Did she even have some eggs left to eat?
wizardrous
Does she make you clean the pan?

I did this like once when I first started cooking. It’s a combo of not enough lubricant (butter, cooking spray, whatever) and really high heat iirc.

Oil is the fast answer, but some pans do that better than others.
hoteppeter
If she’s worried about using too much oil, get her a cast iron pan and season it.
Asmodias1
No oil or butter, and likely cooks on heat that is too high

That pan’s non-stick coating gave up years ago. Not the wife’s fault. But whoever’s job it is to buy new pans is currently committing culinary malpractice. Unless you’re into chewing on Teflon sprinkles and regrets, it’s time to upgrade. But hey, some people like their eggs with a side of microplastics.

On high? No butter?

Are you married to my ex wife? Burner all the way up for everything she cooked, no oil or butter. Wouldn’t listen to any advice, regardless of the fact I cooked professionally for 15 years.

I bet this pan smells like wet dog.

this is the food the baker family serves you in resident evil biohazard isn’t it?

All you need to do is make sure she butters or oils the pan up before cooking.

This looks like the rice my wife used to cook. I cook all the rice now 😂

low heat, a tbl spoon of oil or butter.
that is all it takes.

Was that a Teflon pan? It looks like half the Teflon is in the eggs.

Heat and oil

Cooking spray can make non stick pans get build up and become stick pans. Thats most likely what is happening. Get a new pan, read the directions, use bitter or reg cooking oil, and don’t go above med heat.

My boyfriend does this. I’ve told him to turn down the heat, he doesn’t get it. I give up.

That pan looks shit, can’t tell if it’s cast iron or just a very old teflon
Shigeko_Kageyama
She’s not using enough butter.
Human-Constant302
She should lower the heat and mix a bit of milk to make them fluffier. Edit: Also invest in a proper non stick pan
