Was aiming for medium rare but I think it came out abit more on the rare side.

    8 out of 10. Little more heat on pan to make surface more crispy then 10 out of 10 🙂

    That’s a perfect cook, nice work friend. Crust could use a hotter pan (maybe a paper towel pat down before hitting the pan if you’re not already doing that) but yeah that’s like a solid 8.5/10, would be proud of that one.

  8. I stopped letting it come to room temp… don’t think it helps. It lets the center stay pink more too. That being said, this steak looks amazing! I bet the sizzled pieces taste great too!

    Perfect rare-medium rare 9/10
