Prime rib roast, seasoned with spg, seared on all sides in cast iron pan,

Placed in Dutch oven with homemade bone broth and a pack of French onion soup mix, sautéed onions with Worcestershire sauce added into the mix, cooked until fork tender for 5 hours. In a separate pan I sautéed mushrooms and bell pepper with Worcestershire.

Beef on the bun, onions mushrooms and peppers topped with provolone then broiled, dipped in the Jus. Probably one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten, wife and baby are happy

Looks like a sandwich I would make for my wife, I have these plates.

I was really confused for a minute.

    I think i just cried..🥹That should be illegal!!!!😋🙃😋

  3. Man I wish I could just buy au jus by the bottle in grocery stores, I could drink that stuff for dinner. Not sure what’s different about it compared to standard beef/bone broth but it always hits different when I order a french dip.

My only question is why you would waste an expensive prime rib roast to make shredded beef and not use a less expensive cut that is generally used for this exact purpose? I mean I’d still smash just seems like a waste of a perfectly good prime rib roast.

Please, help me to understand the purpose that the apostrophe in the title is serving.
