I tried this at a friend’s wedding in LA. It had mango, pineapple, jicama, red onion, and these tiny spicy peppers. It was sweet, tangy, and spicy all at once. I asked all my Latino friends and none of them know what it’s called.
My friend said the place only does catering, but I just want to buy a small portion somewhere.
Anyone know where I can find this in LA?

That looks terrible. Mexican fruit salad is usually chunky and juicy. This looks like fruit jerky fries
If you’re okay with it looking slightly different just visit any fruit vendor. Although ICE has been making its rounds so I’m not sure who’s out right now.
Just make it? Sounds really simple and you’ve already identified all the main components, I say hit up a Vallarta produce section and go nuts. Sounds like it might even be the invention of the caterers, in which case you won’t find it anywhere else.
Even if you don’t nail it right away there’s zero chance you won’t end up somewhere great after some experimentation, those ingredients would be great together no matter what you did.
You got this!
This honestly looks also like papaya salad in thai restaurants too.
Pollo Inca
You can get basically this without the onions at any fruit stand
Chiles look like habaneros tbh.
