Just got back from a trip and saw these tiny jalapeños. Is it ok to let the them grow?

If you want more than 2-3 peppers out of it I’d pinch them off and let the plant grow up. If you don’t care about that & just want some peppers asap then leave em 🙂

No, you mustn’t.

Honestly if you don’t want to don’t. Continue to water and feed your pepper plants effectively and you will have more peppers over the months. Plus it’s already in its final container I would say let it ride

Why? If they turn to fruit you’ll have some early treats.

It’s truly a choice, and I would depend the answer on your growing season. If you have a long growing season and want a bushy plant to grow then by all means pinch the tops. But if you have a short growing season it’s not worth the extra fruit you may get. Every year I pinch 1/2 of mine and consistently the ones that are pinched produce better. But I plant them inside in February and transplant out in June!

i pinched no buds this year. if the plant isn’t ready for them they’ll drop naturally. if it’s ready, early peppers!

I am growing three varieties of peppers this year, and two plants from each variety. I started them all from seed at the same time. One of each is getting pinched still, and the other is not. I also have peppers on the ones I’m not pinching, and the pinched plants are way bigger.
