Every year it publishes its 1,000 best restaurants around the world, and Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons has been named close to the top.
In addition, the restaurant’s related hotel – Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, A Belmond Hotel – has been named in the 1,000 best hotels list.
Launched a decade ago, the French guide uses a data algorithm to compile its listicles factoring in multiple forms of online content including press reviews and international dining guides, as well as Michelin and other rankings.

Specialising in French cuisine, Mr Blanc’s Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons is based in Milton south Oxfordshire.
Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons was named among the top 1000 It has two Michelin Stars, and in La Liste’s guide achieved a 95 per cent score, behind the UK’s highest entry – and joint top overall – LEnclume in Grange-over-Sands.
Meanwhile the accompanying luxury hotel received a 99 per cent score, just below the UK’s highest entries The Connaught and The Savoy, both based in London.

Overall, 75 UK restaurants and 100 hotels are within the lists, with Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons being the only Oxfordshire entry on both.
The restaurant was first opened in 1984, 41 years ago, and often uses ingredients from the hotel’s own garden.
Multiple television shows have been filmed at the 15th century manor house that has become the hotel including the BBC 2 television programme The Restaurant.
