Willing Warriors Retreat Dinner. Thanks to Larry and the team at the Warrior Retreat for asking me to Guest Chef.

A big shout out to @cookingwithzandge_s @losi_cooks and @vonthechef and Luck for all your help last night. Great team and I couldn’t have done it without you.

We had a great menu for the dinner tonight starting with apps:
-Garlic Naan flatbread with mustard, mozz & provolone, sautéed fennel, and caramelized onions, micro basil.

– a little smoked sausage sandwich with fire roasted pepper and onion sauce. Topped with some @finksburgfarms micro cilantro.

Our sit down courses;

Soup:
-Italian pasta soup with spinach, sausage in a roasted tomato herb broth

Main:
-Braised dino beef short rib courtesy of @libertydelightfarms. Served on a bed of Bok choy risotto, grilled Bok choy with a red wine beef reduction, potato wasabi logs, and a Parmesan/Pecorino dusting.

Our Veg option was a marinaded grilled portobello mushroom cap, on a bed of mushroom and Bok Choy risotto, and a white wine butter shitake mushroom sauce.

Dessert:

-Chocolate Olive Oil cake with cinnamon stewed apples, almond nut crumble, and a vanilla Greek yogurt cream sauce.

Thanks again for all your help Alex, Von , and Aaron. You all rocked it and of course Larry. He is one of the hardest working guys I know and another Air Force Vet!
