I'm a few weeks out from my first tomato haul, so I'm wistfully looking at last year's pics to tide me over until the first Caprese salad from this year's crop. Love to see your best harvest pics and hear what you made with them.

Looks great! I can’t wait to have this many

Can’t yet all they’ve got to do is ripen ..not get blossom end rot be eaten by something not get cat face and then we will see. Ps I think the big green one isn’t a tomato.

Oh man. I’m in the north and the tomatoes are just now starting to set.

    Yours are a beautiful sight!

I’m still struggling to use them or give them away fast enough. NE Texas, 8a. The photos in this link were taken about 10 days ago. The picking has been steady ever since. My record keeping got sloppy after hitting the 300 pound mark. Production is tapering off now, I’ve already pulled a few of the plants and am looking forward to tomato season being over in another couple weeks. I have promised myself to grow fewer plants next year.

  5. How many tomato plants was this? I have like 9 plants and we are struggling to keep up eating them but it’s nowhere as much as this

Great haul! How many plants do you think this was from?

What a haul! Your tomatoes are nearly all blemish-free and absolute perfection ~ Very happy for you!

I always forget to take pictures. I will this season.

Nice. My guess is you will be doing a lot of cooking soon.

This goes back a couple years, as some health issues limited me the past couple seasons. But I’m back on my feet, hoping that this year‘s harvest will be like this again. I mostly slow roast them and freeze them for spaghetti sauce and other pasta dishes, but my favorite thing is bruschetta. Garden fresh tomatoes and basil, bread toasted on the grill. (Insert Homer Simpson drool here)

I couldn’t even compete with this amazing harvest! Wow!
