What a fun delight to see Chateau Montlabert on here. We were on vacation in Bordeaux last April, and randomly stopped in at Chateau Montlabert on our way back from visiting Chateau Grangey in the morning. We basically just needed a place that accepted kids as we had an infant with us. The team in the tasting room there was wonderful, and treated us super well even though we dropped in unannounced.
I can’t recall ever seeing Montlabert anywhere here where we live (Bay Area) but I’ll always have a good memory of this estate. Glad the wine came off well for you as well.
