👨🍳 Healthy Chocolate Protein Smoothie Ingredients
1 (15oz) can black beans (or cooked beans, 240 g)
½ cup frozen tart cherries
3 Medjool dates
2 bananas
2 Tbsp (16 g) cocoa powder
2 cups (480 ml) plant-based milk

Protein Content Total: 45.33 g plant-based protein
1 can black beans (240 g) = 21.26 g protein
½ cup tart cherries (78 g) = 1 g protein
3 Medjool dates (60 g) = 1.08 g protein
2 bananas (240 g) = 1.75 g protein
2 Tbsp cocoa powder (16 g) = 3.2 g protein
2 cups soy milk (480 g) = 17.04 g protein

This recipe is incredible for the fact that it has a whole serving of fruits and vegetables with protein, making it a complete meal to recover from a workout. I made it and the shake tastes fantastic, practically indistinguishable from a regular chocolate shake. Gonna try some other ingredients to mix in as well. Kudos to you!!!

Not vegan, but trying to hit protein goals in a healthier, more cost effective and sustainable way than eating a lot of meat. This looks interesting, I'll give it a go…are the bananas meant to be frozen like the cherries?
