This cook was long overdue. I’ve owned this mini since 2009, but just got a conveggtor for it and tonight was the first time making pizza on it. Preheated to ~550f for 45 mins while prepping a BBQ chicken with red onions+bell peppers and a classic pepperoni.

It used way, way less lump than when cooking pizzas on our large egg, but with the same excellent wood fired taste.

The “deflector” below the cooking grate is a cracked fire grate from the large egg that I used furnace cement to repair and fill the center holes of, which is the perfect size for indirect on the mini.
