Boiled peanuts are such an easy, salty snack to make at home with almost no effort. The slow cooker method is hands-off and works perfectly with both raw peanuts in the shell and shelled peanuts.

    Here’s how I make them:

    # 🥜 Ingredients

    **For peanuts with shells:**

    * 2 pounds raw peanuts with shell
    * 1/4 cup salt
    * Water (enough to cover)

    **For raw shelled peanuts:**

    * 1 pound raw shelled peanuts
    * 1 tablespoon salt
    * Water (enough to cover)
