  1. Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta!

    Ingredients:

    Shrimp – 1lb
    Bowtie Pasta – 1lb
    Onion – 1
    Bell Pepper – 1
    Asparagus – 1 bunch
    Lemon – 1-2
    Garlic – 7 cloves
    Butter – 1 stick
Parmesan – idk ask your doctor
    Olive Oil
    Salt Pepper Garlic Blend
    Italian Seasoning
    Smoked Paprika
    Parsley

    Directions:

    1. I used frozen shrimp so first I thawed them in some cold water. While they thawed I thinly sliced the onion and bell pepper. I also chopped the asparagus into bite size pieces and grated the garlic.
    2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook your pasta. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
    3. Season the shrimp with olive oil, a salt pepper garlic blend, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, the zest from one lemon and the juice from half of the lemon.
    4. Add the shrimp to a pan on medium high heat and cook for 5-8mins flipping occasionally. They will not take long to cook. Once cooked through, remove from the pan. Add the asparagus and cook for 3mins on high before add a splash of water and covering to steam. Steam for 5mins until tender.
    5. Then add in the onion and pepper and season again with the salt pepper garlic blend and Italian seasoning. Cook for 8-10mins until the onions and pepper are tender. Add 4tbsp of butter (in cubes), the grated garlic and a squeeze of lemon juice.
    6. Add some of your pasta water to form a sauce. Add it in about 1/4c at a time until you have it where you want it. Pour in your cooked pasta and add some more of your seasonings because why not. Add 3tbsp more of butter and then put back in the shrimp. Give it all a mix and finish with 3tbsp more butter, some lemon juice, Parmesan and some parsley. Enjoy!

  2. Not a huge shrimp fan, but this actually looks good! And the goggles made me lol- I make my husband cut them 90% of the time bc I just can’t do it πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  3. Set a bowl of water next to the onion on the cutting board. Onion fumes are drawn to water/moisture, that's why it goes to your eyes. The bowl of water redirects the toxic fumes

  4. I love you cutting boards or is it a butchers block? I love it either way! Have a great day!!

  5. Mate, just put a slice of bead in your mouth & a wet paper towel underneath the onion on the chopping board & you'll be fine. I worked in hospitality for years, a lot of 5 star restaurants & thats what their chefs always recommend. Give it a try! I just go with the slice of bread, because i shredded the wet paper towel. In any case, you're an awesome husband & father & clearly have an absolutely beautiful family home life. Sending love feom Australia πŸŒπŸ¦˜πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί
