I would not call this a baking fail. It still looks really nice, and I’m sure your niece will absolutely love it🥹 I remember going to this painting class once and after it, I saw everyone’s paintings looked different since they had their own interpretations of what the instructor would say. But none of them were bad. It was just their own version of it 🩵

My aunt baked all my birthday cakes growing up. They weren’t nearly as fancy as this, and I am 99% sure she used a box mix, but I absolutely treasure the memory of her baking for my special day. I’m sure your niece will feel the same way about you!

Maybe they don’t look that much alike but I don’t think it really matters, yours is really cute and it honestly gives me more of a cartoon and Stitch vibe than the inspo, I also think the colors matches the target age more – it’s a very pretty cake ♥️ I’m sure she’s gonna love it!
