CLEVELAND, Ohio — Edwins is bringing the flavors of France to Cleveland Heights with its annual Bastille Day celebration set for Saturday, July 12.
La Bastille, kicking off at 6 p.m., will feature Champagne, live music and French cuisine at the restaurant, 12383 Cedar Road. The celebration goes until 10 p.m. and will be followed by the exclusive Après la Fête after-party until midnight.
“Every July, as the lights go up and the music begins, La Bastille transforms Edwins into a place of joy, revelry, and celebration,” Brandon Chrostowski, founder and CEO of Edwins, said in a press release. “It’s a night when we throw open our doors, lift our glasses and honor the freedom to begin again.”
The party harkens a key moment in French history – the storming of France’s Bastille prison in 1789. It occurred during the early days of the French Revolution and is celebrated as a national holiday of independence.
Tickets for La Bastille are $175, with after-party tickets available for $75. A combined ticket to both events sells for $225. Tickets include complimentary valet service.
All proceeds directly support Edwins’ nationally recognized program that provides culinary and life-skills training to individuals returning from incarceration, helping them build careers in the restaurant industry.
“Sponsoring, buying a ticket, or donating to La Bastille is more than just enjoying one of Cleveland’s most spirited summer nights — it’s an investment in futures, in dignity, and in the belief that everyone deserves an opportunity to thrive,” Chrostowski said.
Chrostowski recently won a prestigious 2025 James Beard Foundation Impact Award. The award was new for 2025 and is an achievement award given by the Beard Foundation’s Board of Trustees Impact Committee to recognize efforts to create a more equitable and inclusive culinary landscape.
