Thanks! I’ve been looking for more bread like recipes. I have vital wheat gluten and oat fiber. What kind of lupin flour did you get?

Will give a go. Just made a chicken crust… it was pretty good and completely guilt free.

Wheat gluten is what often makes people feel addicted to wheat—it can trigger strong responses in the body and brain. The same happens with cheese or dairy; while usually optional, they’re often recommended for better flavor.

You can look for unactivated yeast, which provides a cheese-like flavor. I recommend adding it as well—it doesn’t spike blood sugar like MSG but serves a similar purpose in enhancing taste.

Egg whites can be replaced with store-bought egg white powder in small batches. This is usually more cost-effective and reduces waste.

For fiber, choose something well-researched, like the oat fiber listed here. You don’t want to risk unexpected blood sugar spikes or health issues from using experimental fibers, which are easy to come across in online stores.

If you feel your body having a strong blood sugar response, stop eating—even if it tastes good. Wait an hour or two, then test your blood sugar to be safe.
