Is this decent for a first pellet grill? Asking $160
I don’t know much about what is good, but I gotta start someplace cheap

That’s a camp chef DLX with a heat blanket. This is a solid unit for most users based on budget. I’d unscrew the temp controller and look at the fans/auger and test all the ash/ pellet levers but based on this photo it looks in good condition.
It’s prob worth $100-125 just because this is 1-2 gen old, parts will become hard to find.
I have one like this and use it a lot. Solid product.

Yeah – my first pellet grill was a CC DLX24. Its solid. I eventually upgraded to a WWPro36, and sold mine for $200. That one is a few years old, as it does not have the digital display, but if it looks pretty clean and all, its a good deal. Probably purchased new in 2020-2021 or earlier. Good starter pellet grill.
I would probably offer $125…

This was my first, and it’s still kicking. The two things I want when I upgrade are direct flame and the ability to run the fans without heat. I do recommend replacing/upgrading the control panel which is ~$60 on Amazon. It’s digital and the temp accuracy improved when I swapped mine.

Things wrapped up tighter than a Christmas present. Looks good offer him 150 and carry on
