Love the flavour and slightly gooey texture added by the ube jam. Less in your face flavour, but a fun colour in the end! Pretty basic recipe

Recipe

1 1/2 cup whole milk
1 1/2 cup heavy/whipping cream
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tea spoon ube extract
1/2 cup ube jam

  1. Beat eggs and milk in saucepan
  2. Add sugar and ube extract
  3. Heat and stir constantly to 170 F
  4. Wait til cool, then add cream
  5. Fridge over night
  6. Add ube jam and in Donvier ice cream maker
