Never was a fan Edy’s/Dreyer’s, its on the very airy high overrun side.
When it comes to cheaper more “industrial” ice cream like this, I actually prefer the even cheaper stuff that’s in frozen dairy dessert territory.
It’s kinda like a blast from the not so distant past, I associate it so heavily with late 90’s early 2000’s suburban America. Like I can imagine a McMansion in 2005 with a Dad eating a tub of Edy’s in front of the TV.
I know it’s just food coloring but I prefer mint chocolate chip ice cream with that nice light pastel green color. Much more appealing than the ones without coloring.
