These seeds were sold as Carolina reaper seeds. While I’m certain they aren’t Carolina reapers, I am optimistically terrified of what they will become.

Does anyone know what they might be?

what did you expect? ah just see now C,R. looks like it to me

They look like reapers to me. Be careful cutting open those pods, they will likely have pure cap oil in them.

Whatever you have there needs it’s seeds saved and grown again and again until it’s stable.

They honestly look more exciting than Reapers

  5. They look a little longer and more narrow than your typical reaper variety. I agree with king skully on saving the seeds.

That looks like a reaper crossed with either Brain strain, Primotalli or RB003! Either way, its gonna be super hot! Enjoy.

looks very angry. keep the seeds for next year.

Looks like a reaper cross at least, save seeds and grow again next year. Pepper X I believe was selected out of the hotter reapers and worked after by the creator. Still not available commercially

  9. Most likely Reaper crossed with something else. Could be a cool hybrid!

  10. It’s worth mentioning that this plant is also growing insanely tall and narrow. All of my other peppers plants are in the 1.5-2ft range, and this one is about a foot taller.

“Optimistically terrified” should be the ethos of this sub
