After a few years of contemplating I am finally going to pull the trigger on an XL.

This EGGspander kit seems ridiculously expensive. Is it worth purchashing?

I have this Eggspander, and I love it. It is overpriced, but all of their stuff seems to be. Take a look at the Ceramic Grill Store and see if the Woo would work for you.

Hit up Amazon. I have the cheaper version of it and I love it.

I’ve had my XL for almost 10 years now and have never had a reason to wish I had this.

  4. Only if you buy a knockoff from Amazon. That’s what I do. Just check the measurements.

    Those prices are criminal

  5. I got mine from Facebook for $50. Extremely worth it for that price. I wouldn’t buy this for ~$400

I enjoy having mine and use it all the time. I didn’t pay that much for it, though (5 years ago).

  7. love it. but cook without it first. see if you even care for it based on what you make.

  8. I have the ceramic grill store version. They are located in Texas and have incredible customer service. I have called them with questions and got great answers in minutes. I’d also recommend getting their stainless steel drip pan and the ceramic spacers to put it on. All of those products are so well made you’ll never have to replace them.

Not worth it at All. Overpriced item bge is trying to get you spend more money with them. I regret buying. Really a pain store. Money better spent on thermometer or temperature control fans

The PS Woo is the original if the legend is correct the BGE kinda did what huge companies do and take there idea and kinda remix it. That being said I have the Woo and love it on my XL

If you live in Glastonbury CT, the Ace in town has them 50% off. I bought BGE fire bowl, the bottom half of the expander, new hinge all for 50% off

I actually prefer BGE expander to the CGS adjustable expander

  13. Short term financial pain long term grilling gain
