So I'm autistic, or something and I hate vegetables a lot of the time and it is definitely a texture consistency thing for me. So what did I do? I pureed rhat mother fucker . I bought an immersion blender, bought a bunch of healthy vegetables, cooked them up and blended them to death. it's one of the best things I've ever eaten

never say vegetables aren't for you! try new things! cook for yourself!

Tbh that first pic looks great! I love making veggie soup that way. I have a blended green pea soup in the fridge rn that is very shrek green and making me realize I dont like peas that much lmao

Protip: you can also blend veggies with less liquid and use it as a pasta sauce

Broccoli is literally the only vegetable texture I like.

If you cut out the blending it would be a nice soup. The “music” of the ingredients is an important part when eating.

My ex roommate did that with bolognese meat sauce. He blended everything, including meat…

I’m very picky about texture as well! I’ve made a soup similar to this. I bet it’s great and I hope you enjoyed!

I always call this Green Soup. It’s amazing. Especially with lots of garlic in it and a grilled cheese on the side.

I personally would have preferred it chunky, but you explained why you want (or need) them blended so more power to you. Indeed, go the veggies, they’re scrumptious!

  13. I have tourettes and likely other undiagnosed NP but I too have this thing where it’s often the texture that makes me dislike greens. Is that a common symtom for autism or what?
