Comte Liger Belair Clos Du Chateau 2017 – this whispers through the night. As always, a more elegant expression of vosne, especially from CLB. CDC’s approachability, character and transparency is always appreciated. The best value for CLB village, followed by Colombiere.
I do prefer the BP tonight.
Beau Paysage Tsugane La Montagne 2022 is not your typical merlot. Red fruits, herbs, soft florals, and a touch of iron.
On the palate, it’s featherweight yet persistent. Silky tannins, lifted acidity. No strong intrusive oak, nor extraction. Almost burgundian like, with an interesting nose. Drinking exceptionally well for its age. Anyone who love burgundy should love Paysage. Wotn!
