Have some plants that have bad sun scald. Im hoping we are moving more towards the end result of the scald vs plants are done….stems are green and strong but leaves are ate….some plants all the leaves are ate.
Others are going strong. Same soil, same foxfarm regimen, same watering schedule, similar pots except some in 5 gallon buckets…
What's the plan of action? Ive moved into garage and watering and keeping soil like a damp winged out sponge. These plants did this only after the mid atlantic 112 degree heat index days…
No signs of pests on underside of leaves but hard to tell now as they are in bad shape.
What can be done and how long should I expect to see a turnaround? I had to delete my last post as I didnt see how to edit and add the appropriate pics. I dont use this platform much..

They could be stunted a bit just from the sun and humidity. Could bounce back in 2 weeks, and water just enough to need more the next day

Yea sun beat them up, they should be fine. Are you using foxfarms dirt and fertilizers too?
I know how you feel. I’m in NY and I’m super depressed about my peppers. This is my second year growing. Last year the peppers were awesome, no drama and produced all season. This year I get this. I’ve posted about them and have gotten every explanation (could be mites/too much water/heat/too much fertilizer), which basically means I’m no closer to knowing what’s wrong. I’m hoping they bounce back, but I won’t hold my breath. Sorry this obviously won’t help you, but looked like a good place to vent

With peppers it’s a bit finicky if you plant in ground, you’re at the mercy of the weather unless you chose a location in your garden that gets dapple shade during the hottest parts of your day (for your region) the peppers that are really beat up with no leaves I’d say leave in some shade but give them some light to stimulate growing new shoots and leaves some nitrogen focused fertilizer would also be recommended but it is not necessary. Hope your peppers recover and give you deviously delicious peppers.
How do the roots look? are they white or brownish?
Um why is this marked NSFW? I mean i get its near plant murder by the sun but still….
