That is a damn good first grill. You’re going to mess some things up, but more importantly, you’re going to make way more bomb ass food! Enjoy for many years to come.

Nice! Ask almost any experienced bbqer even professional what would be the one grill if they could only have one and that’s it right there.

  4. Weber kettle is a great way to go, no doubt about it.

Just switched from gas. It’s been fun so far. Enjoy!

Get a thermometer if you don’t have one. And watch a ton of YouTube.

Awesome choice; to be honest it may be the only grill you will ever need, unless you want to move up to a 26” eventually.

People are going to give you crap about that grill brush. To be fair there have been injuries associated with metal grill brushes however I feel almost all of them are from user error and cheap or old brushes.

Personally I use [the Weber 18in 3 sided](https://www.weber.com/US/en/accessories/grill-cleaning/grill-brush-6278/6278.htmlGrillBrush-18%E2%80%9DThree-Sided%7CCare%7CGrillBrushes%7CWeberGrills) and have never had a problem. Just remember to always use a quality brush, replace it every year and most importantly never use the brush when food is on the grill. I brush before I begin and then again when I’m done.

I think most of the problems happen when someone is using a cheap old brush that’s shedding bristles and they cleaning the grill with about 15 burning hamburger it.

Great choice, there are fancier grills out there but a simple Webber is really all you’ll ever need.
