This is a red ghost pepper plant. I've had it planted since May. It went through some hardships with possible fungal disease. It's looking much better, but it's just not growing or flowering. I have a fresno chili and a shishito plant growing and those have buds. the Shishito has a small pepper growing too. I've used the Mission fertilizer on these guys. Do I just need to give it more time?

It looks like there are a couple of buds on it. Ghost peppers are finicky I think. I have only grown them once but they didn’t start producing until the end of the summer

Plants looks pretty good. Have you fertilized?

Put some liquid fertilizer on there, it’ll get it moving. I use liquid fertilizer every 3-4 waters and I’m having a good harvest so far

Peppers always just stay dormant until late summer for me. Occasionally I get a serano that just grows the whole season. Was it started in that bag or did you transplant it into the bag after it was already started? Because sometimes they can be growing a lot of roots if it’s larger than what they’re used to and once the roots fill out then they start growing out above ground.

All of my peppers were stunted for like 2 months and are just now growing again. I started them from seeds in late February and they’re still only 3-4 inches tall. Lmao. I probably won’t get peppers until October

My ghosts exploded in growth mid-July last year. Give it some regular fertilizer (liquid) and cal/mag. Plant looks ok to me.

They look fine. The super hot peppers do most of their production end of summer into the fall.

Before you quit: two things to remember
    1. your fast growers are annuums and they tend to grow quick
Your ghost is Chinense and are notorious for showing off late in heat of summer! So don’t panick, you just experience the difference of different pepper species!
    2. Feed your peppers according to growth cycle! Start with higher N-P values and when flowering goes to higher P-K values, K higher than P!
And, forget about checking PH unless you have done something to alter the Ph of your soil! ( not gonna argue with anyone on this, so don’t even try)
    Good luck and stay spicy!
