  1. In this photo: sage, tomatoes, nasturtium, lettuce, tromboncino squash, peas, carrots, calendula, edamame, beans, pumpkin, peppers, sunflowers, watermelon, thyme, sweet potatoes. Probably more I’m missing

Overcrowding has the benefit of keeping weeds out. Doesn’t look that bad

My mother in law’s garden always looks like this and she has the most incredible harvests. Gorgeous!

Same same. Overcrowded and tomato’s that are taller than me.
    They’re a happy little family.

    It’s beautiful. Chaos gardening >>>

Literally same over here!! Glad I’m not alone in the chaos 😂

those are some of the biggest nasturtium leafs I’ve ever seen so you must be doing something right

This is also how I garden. Absolute bedlam.

I love it.  When my beds are bursting with life and my pathways are like a jungle walk I am at peace.

You are doing it right, and saving on mulch! I should’ve planted closer.

    That is beautifully chaotic.

I overcrowded this year as well, but it’s turned out well.

Hey just say youre utilizing the no weeding method of not leaving room for weeds to grow!

It sounds like we are growing very similar things and made the exact same “mistake”/happy accident.

We may have trouble harvesting through all the shrubbery but it sure looks beautiful!

Each year I think, yeah… I spaced things well.

And each year Mother Earth shows me how much I underestimate her.

Your garden is bountiful and beautiful!

I overcrowded my garden this year as well & for some reason, EVERYTHING is producing 😅

Last year when I spaced everything properly, I barely got a harvest.

Good luck, your garden looks lovely!
