These carnivore people are the definition of confirmation bias & delusion.
Its insane to me how they destroy their health & often think being "carnivore" is healthy because some of them lose weight..
How is this legal? I am not allowed to comment on these subs with basic facts potentially saving a life!

Hopefully this sub remains a place where we share tips, recipes and encouragement.
Trying to dunk on people who don’t share my point of view doesn’t make me any healthier.

Oof, that’s really quite sad honestly. I hope she can get help.
The one time I went to one of those subs out of curiosity one of the top posts was someone with a full body rash they developed after switching to a carnivore diet and everyone was like “that’s just the toxins leaving your body” or something to that effect. It was wild.

He names the problem right there. She ate a vegetable once, several years ago. RIP /s

It’s really best to ignore them. There’s no way to talk to them and they’re off in their own little world. We can only help people who want to be helped (curious people who come asking questions).

These people are pathetic losers, and it’s a waste of time trying to save their lives. They have access to the correct info, they choose not to believe it.
Fuck em.

That is bad. On this topic though I see this a lot with plant based eaters as well. To be extremely clear I am a plant based eater but I follow the science.
You can check yourself in such a detailed fashion within AI now. I’ve added two eggs, a couple of cans of sardines (250 gm total) and more seeds throughout my weekly diet. I’ve also added some additional supplements other than B12.
We should all check ourselves because your health shouldn’t be subject to cognitive bias.
I’ll add if you are really into sustainability you could easily forget eating any sardines (fatty fish) and eggs.
I questioned AI with this question “if you are eating a whole food plant based diet, watching your added salt and sugar intake and not eating junk food how much would that contribute to a healthy diet.” The answer was 90%.
The final 10% would be heavily filled with B12 and EPA/DHA.

My father in law and his wife started the carnivore diet about a year ago. He lost some weight and is convinced he found the perfect diet. My wife and I have been vegan for over 10 years and have been a healthy weight the whole time. The silver lining is he’s wealthy and in his 60s…
