Kitchen flooded? Rainwater filtered through asbestos dripping into your fryers? All good bro. GM says it’s fine.

Just call the health department at this point.

  2. _Lloyd_Frontera_

GM is going to be singing a different tune when the Health Department shuts this down.

  3. junkyard_robot

    Health dept would probably disagree.

That’s a shut it down moment. Anyone who wants to clean tomorrow show up early sort of thing.

If you value your health report this and quit.

This wouldn’t even be worth paying my rent dawg.

At least you’re not gonna breathe the asbestos when it’s under water.

Only when it evaporates in a few hours.

That’s an electrocution waiting happen. Been electrocuted at my old kitchen job. My heart was 200+ bpm for 15 minutes, thought I was a goner for a few minutes and coworkers were laughing about it lmao

You’re in danger. Get out of there before you get fried

The more I look at this sub, the more I’ve been cooking at home. Nightmares.

Yeah, I’m not fucking working in that.

  11. That’s a death trap 🪤 shut it down before someone dies.

  12. Look for a new job. Not worth dealing with this. Also report it.

  13. Fire Marshal first, then health department. Absolutely unacceptable.

  14. Even if your employment is threatened to keep serving food, you’re still personally liable in the eyes of the law if you serve any food prepared in these conditions to anyone.

Shut it down and damage control.

If you ever get your restaurant flooded you push the emergency shut down for gas and electricity and then you leave the building.

That there are still lights running is quite a fire and health risk.

  16. Asbestos is a naturally-occurring, kind of potato-colored mineral, so just add a note to your menu saying your fries contain natural food coloring. Cancer-stricken customers can’t say they weren’t warned!

If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with mesothelioma…

Where’s the asbestos? There shouldn’t be ANY asbestos in a modern building certified for occupancy or business. To me this looks like a natural disaster not a case of negligence but obviously the facts aren’t known to us. In a situation like what we are shown:
The kitchen should be closed immediately (obviously)
An assessment needs to made by qualified personnel as to what exactly needs to be done as far as clean up to be able to reopen.

This isn’t an OSHA call. This is an act of god unless someone is being forced to work under these conditions.
