After I came back from epic Italy trip( Rome+Tuscany), I was craving for Italian style sandwiches and this fairly new sandwich store really excited me.

It was small cute take-out-only shop, tucked in the side road, 5 min walk from Eglinton station. Think they had a space for potential small patio outside.

Took my sandwich to nearby park at Castlefield ave. I saw one lady who was eating the sandwich on the bench along Yonge. (Their takeout box stands out and she was eating out of the same cute box)

✅Excellent motadella from Verona.
Loved thinly sliced generous amount of layers
✅Strong basil & garlic flavor pesto which I loved. Was very fresh!
✅Crunchy pistachio 💕 on top of creamy straciatella
✅ It is a big sandwich & all the ingredients were super fresh! 👍🏼
Found $19.21( tax incl.)to be very resonable price. I had unfinished half sandwich later on.

It was the combination that I missed the most from the sandwich I had in Italy.

My sandwich was made to order, picked up by me( not by Ubereats) and I started eating in less than 10 min. Bread was very fresh & soft. My only complaint was I wished Schiacciata bread was a bit more crunchy outside and thinner. As far as I know that is how we can diffferentiate schicciata from foccacia.

I have searched for better schiacciata bread since this visit, however I could not find anywhere else in Toronto that showed up in my search. Maybe next time I should bring sandwich home and toast it myself to make it crunchy outside?
