My guy here invented the most popular third party accessory for BGE.

Congrats on your new Kick Ash ~~Basket~~ Chickenwire.

    Fire it up!

ETA: that’s not galvanized… is it? If it is, don’t use that.

What in the drunken Alabama English is that title even attempting to say

Can someone translate the title? I don’t speak gibberish

  4. Someone do a wellness check, ol boy had a stroke.

It’s been less than 4.5 hours since OP posted this. They still have time to get to a hospital and reverse the stroke they clearly had while typing this post.

  6. I guess I’m the only one who knows the idiom “needs must” but I don’t know what “OF nest” is.

Also: OP is lucky and now has a perfect excuse to spend money on BBQ toys.

  7. Make sure that’s not a galvanized wire! It will react with the heat and it releases poisonous gas into the food and around the grill. Even a small amount is really bad.

In the days before the internet, my dad drilled holes in a smallish cast iron skillet, cut the handle off, and used carriage bolts to keep it at the right height. it worked for decades.

How hot does one need to run their grill to kill a cast iron grate?

That is actually covered by the lifetime warranty. You can get a new one for free. I have done this twice in the past 20 or so years.

  11. Did I have a stroke reading this or did you have a stroke when writing it?

I am going to be kind and believe that OP was just using Apple Siri. You get crap like this when you don’t check what your phone thinks you said. I don’t know

Get you a kick ash basket and kick ash can and you will love it. It makes clean up easier and takes less time to get the grill hot with added airflow.

Talk much? What in the blue phuck does this say?

I replaced my grate with a wire rack early in the piece, made it much easier to adjust temperature.
