Looks great, I’d say if you go to that much effort try making your own tortillas while it cooks Its pretty easy and fun to make

This looks amazing! Did the smoke flavor come through? Since I don’t have trompos or vertical spits I always break it down and cook my Al pastor on the Blackstone. Never thought about the Traeger. I’m going to try it!

Looks dope, throw the tortillas in a hot pan or on the grill for a bit to give them better texture. Bonus points if you use some of the grease from the meat on them before you heat them.

The pastor looks delicious! Please for the love of all that is Mexican, toast those tortillas next time 🙏

  5. Thank you for making my plans for the 4th! Great idea!

  6. What recipe did you follow? The last one I made, the structural integrity of my pastor tower failed right after I took a pic. Taste was decent.

  7. Tip for pre-made tortillas, warm this up with a small amount of oil. I spray coconut oil lightly on one side of tortilla and put in in a hot castiron. Makes them really nice and soft so they dont break while eating the taco.

What’s the plate you have to hold the meat ? Looks delicious!

I love this recipe from hey gril hey. I make it a few times a year and it is always a hit

  10. What is the metal stand you cooked the meat on?

Hey, stop that! If you Canadians get the good Mexican food, who is going to go to the US anymore?
