I saw these at canadian tire for the first time. Has anybody ever used these pellets? I feel they would be great on pork. Will find something to use them on.

  1. I used bourbon barrel chunks on a charcoal smoker and they were awful. Really acrid smoke smell that overpowered whatever bourbon aroma might have been in there.

    I imagine the pellets are probably much better than burning straight staves, but that one attempt put me off trying anything like that again.
