Our ice machine went down for a couple days, so our maintenance guys delivered us a couple hundred pounds of ice. Turns out they aren't the sharpest knife in the kitchen and put all of it right in front of the walk-in freezer door, leaving a new body of water not yet charted, on my reefer floor. Be Exec., they said, it will be fun, they said.

This should honestly be grounds for termination. At the very least a write up. Do they not like you? It almost seems intentional.

This is nuts. Why not just put it in the walk in but then to make it so you can’t even open the door lol

  3. Fucking ICE. The second most crucial component next to the dish person. Either one goes down and it’s a shit show. Nothing worse than dealing with bagged ice. And it never fails to have these types of incompetencies appear in the process. Fucking ICE! Hate that shit.

My Pepsi guy used to do that all the time. He was supposed to rotate all the 2 liters, but didn’t want to do that part. So he’d stack 15 cases right snug against the old cases. When I asked him to leave it back a few feet so I could rotate he got mad because he had already set the first load down. Took about 3 asks to get him to realize I was asking for a small courtesy so I could do his job for him.
