Pork Cutlet Milanese with Lemon Cream Sauce. This Sunday we were craving a crispy fried pork cutlet and decided to make it Milanese style and top it with a fresh creamy lemon sauce. This is so delicious and perfect for Sunday dinner with an Italian salad and of course pasta!
1 lb pork cutlets
2 eggs
1/2 c milk
1 1/2 cups fresh white bread crumbs
1/2 c Parmesan
3 tablespoons parsley chopped
Salt and pepper
1 c olive oil
Lemon sauce
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon flour
1 c heavy cream
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Kosher salt
White pepper
2 tablespoons parsley flakes
Mix the eggs with the milk in a shallow bowl and. Mix the bread crumbs with the Parmesan and parsley, salt and pepper.
Dip the pork in the egg then dredge in the bread crumbs. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet and fry the pork until golden on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
Make the sauce by melting the butter and adding the flour. Whisk until combined. Slowly add the heavy cream and the lemon juice. Season with salt and white pepper. Stir in the parsley flakes and serve alongside the pork.
