So, a few months ago I saw some tiny chiliplants in a garden centre. They only had 2 or 3 leaves on them and didn't look like much. I decided to buy one Jalapeno and one Chocolate scotch bonnet, and so the journey began.
Little did I know, but in a few weeks they doubled in size, so I found a bigger pot for them. Then they doubled again, and as I'm a windows grower, I can barely se out my windows anymore 😎
The Chocolate scotch bonnet seems to be much more productive than the Jalapeno, and I haven't had a single Jalapeno turn red yet – but I have maybe 25 to 30 green ones in various sizes.
The Bonnets however, have turned a lovely milk chocolate colour and in my opinion look delicious.
Not knowing much about chili, I decided to eat one of the bonnets… big mistake 😬 I eat picked Jalapenos like it's Haribo, but MAN, that bonnet was hot. I was expecting it to be, but this was way hotter than I could have imagined. Like an out of body experience for a beginner like me 🤣 Good thing I'm not lactose intolerant.
I was thinking about making some chilisauce with them, but I definitely need to dilute them a bit in the process.
What else would you recommend using the Chocolate bonnets for?

You are doing much better than me as a first time grower! Good job. What kind of soil are you using?
They look great! Nice first time for sure.
