Canadian living in the states and everyone at our gym was obsessed with these. I've been asked to make another batch for tomorrow 😅

This is the second Nanaimo post I’ve seen today and I am so jealous 😭😂 it’s my favorite dessert
I LOVEEE NANAIMO BARS <3
I’ve just made homemade custard for mine to bring to work on Thursday for my work colleagues! Using that same recipe too!
I feel like a bad Canadian. I have made nothing for the Americans 🤣. Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦❤️
Probably because it’s so damn delicious
Brb, joining OP’s gym
FINALLY, A GYM I CAN JOIN AND ACTUALLY GO TO!
My ex’s Dad was from Whistler and her (Irish) mam learned to make these when visiting his family years ago. She made them every year for Christmas. 10 years later and I still miss these things so badly.
I’ve tried to make them, but they aren’t the same. Consider me very jealous OP. 🥲
Hi. Can you share the recipe please?
TIL about this treat. THANK YOU!
Canadian millionaires shortbread?
Happy Canada Day! I’m socked in with Covid (it finally got me) and everything tastes like dirt, but my memory still conjures up how wonderful these are xo
I just made these myself, so I’m fully aware of how nutritionally irredeemable these are…so shame on you for sharing them at the *gym* of all places, those poor souls 😁
Oh Canada! What a great way to celebrate!
Is the third time I saw this today, so I need to try it. But I’m from Brazil and I don’t have a clue what custard powder is. I read and looks like a pre-made pastry cream but harder?
