This is one of the other two brands that my local market has. Interestingly, instead of a mustard packet it has a shisonori packet. At first I thought this would be a bad thing, but I actually like this brand a bit better than the first one I tried? Maybe I just don't like mustard in natto?

Keeping the mix-ins simple for now, just a little extra soy sauce and some green onions. I can get more experimental with the flavor once I decide which brand I like most as a baseline. Though I did discover that I like using a wider bowl so I can spread the natto more thinly over the rice, let the heat warm it up a little so it isn't fridge cold as I try to eat it.

    Don’t think I’ve seen this one before, I’ll have to look for it locally. Also don’t like mustard in Natto.

    have you tried raw or poached egg mixed in? it’s pretty good with a bit of soy sauce.
