A Kendal restaurant has opened after rebranding with a new name reflecting its roots.
Pasta and Pizza bar La Luna, formerly known as The Moon, announced its rebranding last month, aiming to pay homage to its Italian identity.
Italian for “The Moon,” the restaurant hopes to maintain the spirit of the original name while adding a Mediterranean twist.
(Image: La Luna) Sales and Marketing Manager Eva Stoyanova said : “The Moon has always had a magical vibe. We know it holds a special place in all your hearts here in Kendal. So, we kept the soul of the name, but gave it that Italian twist. Bellissimo, right?”
The team said customers can expect the same welcome and high-quality food, with the same owners and a team of Italian chefs at the helm.

The rebrand follows the successful launch of La Luna’s new summer menu, featuring seasonal dishes including ‘Gamberi Salmoriglio’ – pan-fried and flambéed campari-marinated king prawns – and much-loved Italian pastry, cannoli Siciliani.
