Made pico de gallo. Husband said, “that’s a lot of onion compared to tomato… never mind, I know how much you like onion.”

  1. as an onion lover, I do prefer there to be a good amount of tomatos, the best part about pico for me is the pico juice that forms as a result of all the vegetables marinating in the tomato juice. Shit makes everything taste 10x as good! That said, I do be putting more onion than your traditional pico recipe, because at the end of the day, pico is pico so long as you’ve got the main ingredients(cilantro, lime, tomato, onion, salt)

A wise man wouldn’t have said a damn thing. He still has much to learn.

How dare he suggest such a thing, you need to leave him IMMEDIATELY for some blasphemy!! /s

Hmmm, your onion to tomato ratio is definitely off, and what are those yellow peppers doing in there and grape tomatoes ahh hell nah!

That looks about right. They never put enough onion in the store-bought pico, or the restaurant salsa.
