I loved this fried chicken restruant near a military base in pyeongtaek. I always ordered the 치슐랭 (chichelin) chicken. I can not find anything similar to this now that I'm back in the US. Is it called something else here? Where can I find it? I've tried several Korean chicken restaurants in Virginia but they do not have it and do not know what I'm talking about when I show them a picture.

You’ve got the name already, 치슐랭 is what they call it. I’m pretty sure this flavor at least by this name is exclusive to 호치킨 (Hochicken). It kind of blew up on SNS like 4 or 5 years ago
It’s a play on chicken + michelin
bhc-chicken “MATCHO-KING” I think it’s probably similar
I just read a review on this because I’ve never heard of it and it sounds so good. Now i want to try it! Lol basically an upgraded version of soy garlic chicken
i think this is only sold at hochicken. bbq chicken might have some similar flavors but i dont think they have any with the tteok in there
What does this taste like?
Here’s an article on it where it says it’s marinated in soy sauce. And there’s a YouTube video on Michelin star Korean fried chicken.
I’ll link both. Maybe you can try to recreate it 😝

Is this similar to 유린기 (yuringi)? You might be able to find it at a Chinese Korean place with jjajjangmyun.
There’s also recipes online (maangchi, etc)
