I don’t want to be brutal, but an electrical blower for a Kamado style BBQ is the most useless tool you can buy. Those BBQ’s are stable on their own. In fact that is one of the main reasons they exist.

Congrats! I starting using mine a couple of weeks ago and am very happy with it. I don’t use it for every cook, but it’s certainly nice to have.

These were great when I was getting started to help with temp control. It allowed me to focus less on the temp and more on other things. I now have a pretty good understanding of how to control temp on the KJ without it. My word of caution to you is that when closing probes in the KJ, be very mindful of the wire position, keep it as straight as possible to avoid creating bends. I fractured several of the probes and they started reading wildly inaccurate temperatures. I didn’t take very good care of wire management though so it was my own fault. If you are careful, you should be able to avoid that! Great idea with the silicone pouches, that will help a lot with managing the wire in between cooks.

It looks like July 4th is going to be a great day!
