15 varieties have started to break so far!!! So many more have many big tomatoes showing no blushes yet! I love a sweet cherry or grape tomato! To me they are so much better than candy! If I had to rank them by sweetness, it’d be a 3 way tie for first. Sun Gold, Sun Sugar and Katinka Cherry. They are all 3 along the same line as far as flavor. If I get a perfectly ripe one of any of the three it would rank 1st in that moment, until the perfectly ripe of one of the other two and it is 1st then🤦🏻♂️…tie! That makes it easier. If forced to rank those three it’d be Katinka Cherry, Sun Gold, and them Sun Sugar but I’d be happy with having any of the 3 every year going forward. Next not far behind at all would be Sweet Million, then Sugary Hybrid. The Sweet Million still has 10-5 in the paper bag. It is a big producer so far. The Sugary hybrid is right behind Sweet Million and the top 3 for flavor and production. They are all 5 so close, IMO that someone on here could make a case for any of the 5 to be the best. Black Strawberry, Midnight Snack, and Isis Candy are great tasting all 3 but not nearly as sweet as the top 5. If you love a great tomato flavor but could do without a lot of the sweet, these 3 are for you! I’ll need to eat and taste test a lot more of the three to be able to fairly rank them. That leaves Lucky Tiger which os really good as well, and black hole sun that I haven’t tried yet so can’t judge. The bigger tomatoes I need to let counter ripen for a while before trying them. I am a pick it at 1st blush and let ripen on your counter guy!🙋🏻♂️ Why? My tastebuds aren’t refined enough to taste the difference between vine ripened and counter ripened, remember I admitted that if you disagree with my rankings! Not a sophisticated palate! Do not claim to be. I lost enough tomatoes letting them go one more day to pick fully ripe to a bird, squirrel, hornworm, thunderstorm, or a random person that I prefer them ripening safely in the house where only a random person might take and eat it!😊 Happy Growing!
