A Italian restaurant has been handed a new four-star food hygiene rating.
Dolce Vita, in Tregwilym Road, Rogerstone was given the score after assessment on May 22.
The restaurant was rated as “generally satisfactory” for the cleanliness and condition of its facilities and building.
It received a “good” rating for its hygienic food handling, and for its management of food safety.
This means the food safety officer is confident that standards will be maintained in the future.
The food hygiene rating reflects the standards found on the date of the inspection by the local authority.
