Chef Andre Garrett has been appointed group culinary director at Claude Bosi restaurant group.
He has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, having most recently served as executive chef at the Corinthia London and executive chef at Cliveden House in Berkshire, where he oversaw the relaunch and refurbishment of the hotel and its flagship restaurant.
Prior to that, he was head chef at the Michelin-starred Galvin at Windows, which closed last year.
The 2002 Roux Scholarship winner also holds a Master of Culinary Arts from the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts and competed in the Bocuse d’Or in 2007, placing 10th.
At Claude Bosi restaurants, Garrett will work alongside executive chef Claudio Illuminati and executive pastry chef Jamie Warley.
Garrett will also lead the kitchen at the second Josephine Bistro in London’s Marylebone, which opened this April, alongside head chef Connor Jack Twomey.
It comes two years after the launch of the original Josephine on Fulham Road in Chelsea in 2023. Based on the traditional bouchons found in Claude’s hometown of Lyon, it won a Bib Gourmand in the 2025 Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland.
In an announcement on Instagram, Claude Bosi said: “Lucy and I have known Andre for a long time and followed his career. French culinary expertise will be a massive asset to our business and [we] look forward to be working together.”
The Claude Bosi restaurant group comprises the two-Michelin-starred Claude Bosi at Bibendum, the two-Michelin-starred Brooklands by Claude Bosi at the Peninsula London and the Josephine Bouchon restaurants.
