Hi friends, I am a fairly new baker and recently had a request to do memorial cookies for a sweet little boy from my community who left us too early. This little boy loved bubbles and I would really like to do something special with them for his mama. Has anyone ever done an iridescent royal icing cookie or have any tips on how to achieve the effect like in the photo? I can’t seem to find anything online and I’d be so appreciative for any help!

You could dust the cookies with pearl luster dust to give them a shimmer

  2. This was most likely done with an airbrush machine… I don’t have an airbrush machine so if I had to do something like this I would probably try to watercolor it … I would mix food coloring with water, make it pretty watery and dab it around the cookie with a brush.. something like [this ](https://www.instagram.com/p/DIKWWUQSrOl/?img_index=4&igsh=cmhyNThjMGJpcDBn) or [this](https://www.instagram.com/p/C9lJDveuRP6/?igsh=eWk0M3BucXI1bzNs) that I did in the past.. just do different colors instead of just 1

Most likely lightly applied airbrush color in an array of colors as shown with luster on top
