  1. The confidence to say you would charge $225 for your dish is just legendary. And then the rush he must have felt for Gordon to tell him it's worth every penny?

  2. That looks so good. Maybe growing up middle class with really frugal parents, and now being financially comfortable, there isn't a plate of food that exists anywhere for 225 bucks.

  3. I just ate a normal porterhouse at Gordon Ramsey steak in KC a week ago… it was $120 so I don’t doubt that Gordon has no problem with $230 for that dish

  4. As someone who has been to high-end steakhouses and paid $$$ – let me be honest, it doesn’t taste that much better than what a good home chef can do. Certainly not enough to justify even close to the price.

High-end steaks can be delectable, don’t get me wrong. Just not worth the price tag. You are paying for the bragging rights to be able to talk about how you ate a $220 steak.

  5. "You would pay $200 for that?!"
Are the same people who buy top shelf weed thats actually just bottom of the barrel bud and think its somehow a "wise investment" at $16/gram.

  6. The best steak I ever had was at Hell’s Kitchen. A5 wagyu from Japan, medium rare. Would I ever eat that dish again, 100% absolutely. Would I pay 125$ for 5 tiny slices 100% absolutely not.

  7. It’s funny how the people in the back started laughing when he said how much he would charge for the dish. And looked stupid after Gordon said he would pay $230.

  8. I'm amazed how many commenters have clearly not looked at the menu in the window of a high end restaurant in their local Capital City or specialty tourist area. Gordan Ramsay's Signature Restaurants in London or New York put at least $400 on a Credit Card when you book a table for 2, because your meal will be at least that much, and you forfeit that money if you're a no show. Part of the Contract. He's so busy he can afford to charge that.

  9. That’s the type of meal you order if you’ll actually appreciate it. I am happy with my $50 steak. Don’t need a $230 one

  10. The fact that someone is so incredibly fucking lazy and stupid to use an AI voice of Gordon, talking about Gordon .. these people need to be hunted down and ixnayed from reality, and these bullshit videos taken down and edited back to no captions and no fucking AI voice.

  11. Only rich people would pay for that otherwise go eat this beside a homeless shelter or a homeless person and tell me how you feel after you eat it😅

  12. We get so much fresher, better food in Hawai'i that's relatively inexpensive compared to this crap. Shoot, I just spearfished an ahi (yellowfin) tuna this week, so we had fresh had a grillout. We have much better food here.
