today's bread!! I’ve been making inclusion breads and focaccia, so I wanted to make just a basic boule today💅 what do you think?❤️
Ingredients:
• 80g starter
• 300g water
• 400g all-purpose flour
• 10,6g salt
- Mixed the starter and water, then added the flour.
- Let the dough rest at room temperature for 1 hour.
- After 1 hour, added the salt and performed 4 rounds of stretch-and-folds, spaced 30 minutes apart.
- After the final stretch-and-fold, let the dough sit at room temperature for about 3 hours. Shaped the dough and placed it in the fridge (about 5 hours, didn't have time for more)
- Baked in a Dutch oven: Preheated the DO at
446F/230C, baked 30 minutes with the lid on (added water to the oven for steam). 15 minutes with the lid off.

I’ve been successful on my bakes when I wait to add the salt AND when I put salt in immediately after starter, water, flour. What are ur takes on waiting to add the salt?
