this Italian almond and orange cake is soft moist and incredibly easy to make and yes it’s gluten-free in a large mixing bowl whisk together the sugar and the egg yolks until light and foam add a burst of flavor with freshly grated orange zest now add in some freshly squeezed orange juice almond or orange extract if you like some oil and bit well for this recipe I’m only using almond flour so it’s naturally gluten mix it in until just combined in a separate bowl beat the egg whites until stiff then gently fold them into the batter a little bit at a time take a look how smooth and soft now you can pour the batter into an eight or 9 in spring form pan line and greased for a little extra crunch top with toasted almond slices bake for about 40 minutes at 350° until golden and perfectly set let it cool dust with powdered sugar and enjoy recipe my cookbook Manuela Sweep Dentation

  1. Sounds wonderful but will leave the oil out as that's not good for you. Maybe I'll replace it with coconut oil.

  2. If you replace the sugar it's also low carb or even keto friendly. It's not that much orange juice after all. Awesome !
